About Us
There is always lots to look forward to at the Granary, from yearly examinations to a fantastic dance show every other year. As well as this, we perform displays throughout the year at events such as The Great Dunmow Carnival, The Christmas Lights Switch On and the Countess of Warwick Show.
We aim to achieve a balance of building techniques and performance qualities, really helping pupils to maximise their full potential. We currently have pupils aged between 2 – adults. All pupils can take examinations and are helped to achieve their best possible grades.
Meet your Dance Teachers
Suzanne has been dancing from the age of 4 years old and enjoyed many years of performing in local shows and taking leading roles in Dunmow Pantomimes.
After gaining her teaching qualifications in both the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). she went on to teach for 12 years at the Saffron School of Dance.

In 2010 Suzanne fulfilled her lifetime ambition of having her own dance school when she founded the Granary Dance School.
Josie has danced since she was 3 years old and has taken many dance exams throughout.

She has been with The Granary dance studio for over 7 years and has a passion for choreography and all things musicals!
​
Alongside teaching dance, she is a full-time registered nurse, currently working in an emergency care setting.
